“Just Kryptonite me NOW!”

Says the superhero as he searches for a wormhole to ANOTHER alternate universe.

It’s not easy being a superhero.

Long hours, lousy pay.

But it can also be a rewarding life. Like when the mayor says “you saved us all from the bloodthirsty Gila Monsters!”

Wow, it can feel good.

And it’s equally tough to write about.

When your editor tells you “I can’t see where this story is going…” you have to understand that your editor might not have x-ray vision and probably could use a good squeegee on his windshield of life.

When he mentions that you keep jumping from first person to third person, remember he may not know about that whole worm-hole thing.

You need to have patience when Perry White demonstrates a less than supersonic speed reviewing the hundreds of stories that hundreds of other superheroes submitted just before you.

And you try not to shoot yourself in the foot by getting crazy and scooting across space to start your own Daily Planet.

But the bullet would probably just bounce off anyway.
