I know you folks like your Substacks and so do I. but Substacks can only go so far. I have been working on my old (first) website that I used to house information about my books and writing, It is very personal, very book-oriented, and very free. In fact, I can’t think of a way I could possibly charge for subscriptions there.

Substacks, on the other hand, are more work-process oriented, meant to educate, and meant to eventually charge for subscriptions, and make money for the writer.

I have heard from more than a few of you that secretly you wish you had your own Substack. Of course I made a guide for you to do just that.

But what I am adding or re-working is the website www,DonMartinBooks.com. Please visit when you can, and make your comments right below the stories.

So my task before me is to make this publication more works-oriented and less informal. And to make DonMatinBooks a less structured environment to enjoy rather than to study and learn.
