Here’s what’s goin’ on in my life, and here’s what I’m doin’ about it.

Yesterday was a calm, warm, and sunny day in Nipper’s Corner. Nipper’s corner, at the corner of Edmondson Pike and Old Hickory Blvd in South Nashville, was so named after Walter Nipper, who, besides Nashville Sporting Goods, owned a nursery at the northeast corner of that intersection when OHB was but a two-lane road with a few trailers on it. Nipper and his partner, James Latimore, sold the location to Baker, Storey, Mcdonald Properties of Brentwood for 6.7 M. to develop the present commercial area. Nipper was also a part owner of the Nashville Sounds.

The Art of Clarity

Yesterday, I observed it was a calm, warm, and sunny day in Nipper’s Corner. Oh yeah, it was also a clear day. And I like clarity. I love a good clear mix in music. I like good, clear voices in tight harmony, even better than the gravelly, cowboy voice I hear so much here in Nashville. And I love good, clear eyes, those which are windows into someone’s soul. I like people who aren’t afraid to look me straight in my eyes when we’re talking.

Sadly, yesterday, I heard a person describing to me why a different person likes to use a Starbuck’s app on her phone.

“I just want to use my app and get my coffee. I don’t like to have to talk to anyone.”

Sadly, some of my customers feel that way, too. they would rather spend an hour texting, then a few minutes talking to another human being.

Of course, I like a clear day too. One that isn’t hazy with humidity, but rather, lets us see for a hundred miles. like yesterday.

YouTube Music in this Blog…

A lot of you folk who regularly read my articles, know I enjoy dropping some me music into them from time to time. some say I should not do so because of possible trademark problems. when I look for definitive info about I am only directed to speak to an attorney. I have researched this from time to time with no positive answer short of spending money on the research.

So here are my current ideas on sharing Youtube music on this blog.

Youtube music appears to be made to share. I know a person can create a Youtube channel and eventually get enough views to monetize it, but the seem to be constructed to share or embed.

If I decide to share one one my blog for now, short of taking the time to get somebody’s permission, I will always copy the credits as they appear. for a proprietary music video, i will not share one until I receive the permission I need. if anyone has different information, please let me know in the comment section below.

You come to this blog. This blog comes to you.

For now, you, as a reader, can visit this site any time, and read all that has been published up to that time. The writer tips happen on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Journals other days. I intend to send my list a scheduled wrap-up on Fridays, and possibly an unscheduled one on a different day.
