Five or six weeks at the hospital because the Multiple sclerosis I have lived with for decades was suddenly exacerbated by a stroke. My left side was extremely weak. I had been writing a lot of articles for Medium, and they shut down quite a bit, as did all of my writing.
Peggy brought my laptop to the hospital room and I slowly tried to keep my real estate website (my primary income.) current.
On a related, but unrelated note, my three Substack newsletters, about which I, had bragged concerning the ease of operation, cancelled me and would not tell me why. My carotid artery had to be cleaned out, surgically, leaving me with a neck scar like Clint Eastwood on “Hang ’em High.”
My huge cache of big-time writer’s money has dwindled, and I guess I’m moving my daily journal to this website, if it’s ok with you.
