In addition to writing as much as I can, I also operate a company and a website that helps people sell their own house, using the Multiple Listing Service. It seems to be a very popular place on Friday afternoons.
Customers remember their Open Houses they forgot to put on the website. Other customers have just thought of a list of edits they want made before the weekend.
Some real estate agents are scurrying to complete sales before the weekend. Other agents decide they don’t like the commission amount a seller is offering. Still other agents want me to setup showing appointments for them even though they know I cannot do that.
And all of these people are mad at me here on Friday afternoon, even though for all purposes I am just a website they are venting at. What they probably don’t realize is that the more they make my life difficult, the more likely they will show up in one of my stories later on. But they may not die a grim death or feel torturous pain. They may even live happily ever after, who knows? At least I never run out of characters, or worry about writer’s block.
For now though, my work is setting up a weekend promotion of a free copy of one of my kindle books. Saturday and Sunday, you can go to Amazon and grab one. Oh, yes, I would love and could really use a review in the Amazon review section. Truthful, but good. You know. Just go here this weekend!
